Kya tanhai kabhi kaat-ti hai apko?

Dear Bunty,

You have a penchant for expression, and you do that well. The reader can visualize with your expression and comprehend your feeling. That's a good writer gift you have. I don't want to delve much in your personal experiences you had in the past, but do continue  to write. Also loved the leechie story from Bihar.

Reservations? YES

Based on caste? ABSOLUTE NO

Based on economic criteria? YES

If you are walking in the same road as I am, then we can talk further.

A tribute to my mother

Dear Arch,

Parents are the greatest gifts, the children get in their lives, and we don't realize until they are gone. A very touchy experience and very well written.

Why I believe Kaavya Viswanathan

I hate to disagree. There's something called a reference section in books, where writers generally put their "sources of inspiration", and maybe if they copied a few lines from some, but in Kaavya's case that would have made all the lifting too evident. Wouldn't it.

But serious, honest writers would still put something  in referneces which Kaayva didn't. I have known authors who would prasie other authors when giving credit in their books and would say that they had to get some lines from the other book, beause they liked it so much. That's called as coming clean.

A 19 year old, studying at Havard and who writes more than a hundred page book, fails to understand this? I still don't get it. She was caught and she should be sorry for it.

Love Jumbled

You carried the mystery for too long, without concluding.

Your feelings are as important as other person's feelings, that you respect. You may have tormented yourself a lot through his undisclosed response, though you could have brought-up this question and cloncluded in a dignified manner. Who knows your talking with him, may have re-kindled similar affection in him as well.

I had similar feelings for a girl I studied with and always thought that she would be naive if she had those feelings towards me.

I rationalized, and spoke to her before I left college, not about love, but about the feelings I had for her and how she thought about those. She had deep respect and friendship towards me which didn't proceed towards love. Once we talked it over we laughed. Although I still felt the pain for a while, I knew her more after that. We are still good friends.

Degree Evaluation

I got my degrees evaluated through my company. They got it done from MEIServices.

Their website is www.meiservices.com. email : meiservices@yahoo.com. If you are getting it done yourself then it may come around to $150-$200 depending on the company and how soon you want it back.

Good Luck

Is There A God?

*lines from the article* God bless America, where a Baltimore slum resident can address the visiting Queen Elizabeth as “Hey, Queenie"

From a point-of view of the author, who the heck is going to bless America if there is no God. :)

The author is confused and the article is a good example of half or no knowledge.

Who has full knowledge about God ? None. Not even the believers. Does the author knows enough ? No, but instead can throw a judgement rather than a speculation, which only speaks about the subject line in less than 20% of the article.

Everyone has a right of opinion, just like this post, but the author has contradicted himself so many times in the article.

So, is there a God ? Don't know. But faith can move mountains and faith in self come from believing in icons, stone, tree, sun, moon and even reconstructing a star, which many residents of a small town in south CA did, after the town was burnt in a recent fire in south california. Their belief in self resurrected after the star was put back in it's place by the town, before their houses got built. I don't know if there's God, and the author doesn't either.

So someone believing in this article could print dollar bills at home because they wouldn't accept the ones by the government. Why ? because the govt. bills says "In God we trust", and they wouldn't trust the govt. for that baloony. :)

The unfortuate conclusion of such a person, who is thrown in jail for forgery would be, that s/he would be riding the bus to prison thinking, " Is there a God ?"

*I dedicate this post to all who believe in the mystic power who runs this conundrum, we call earth*
